Classic & Elegant Lighting

Classic interior design is often synonymous with both timeless and elegant, something that many people want to achieve in their interior design. By decorating your home in a classic way, the interior will always feel timeless and you will probably not get tired of your interior design as quickly as when you instead choose to follow what is trendy at the moment. By having a classic base in your interior design, you can add elements such as curtains, blankets and details according to trend and season to create life and change in the home without having to replace the furniture or the colour of the walls.

To achieve a classic and elegant interior design, it is a good idea to choose a sober and harmonious colour scheme, preferably white, beige, grey, light blue or light green. Make sure that the colour scheme permeates your entire home to create harmony in the home. Another good tip is to think about the symmetry and balance in the home, make sure that each individual space has a clear function regardless of size and then decide what should be the focal point. For example, it could be the sofa, the dining room table or the kitchen island, then make sure to centre any lighting and rug. Also think about the design of the room, where are the doors and windows? Try to centre the furniture based on that. To create symmetry, it is good to work in pairs, for example, if you have a sofa, try to have two armchairs.
