The Calliope Short wall light is designed by Thomas O'Brien for Visual Comfort & Co. Wall lights work with a room's depth rather than its ambient light. A pair flanking a mirror or a bed gives a softer light than a single point in the ceiling.
Choose between 2 finishes: Polished Nickel With White Glass and Hand-Rubbed Antique Brass With White Glass. The tone of the metal affects how warm the light feels. The materials are nickel & chrome and glass.
It measures 10.2 cm wide and 29.3 cm high. It weighs 2.3 kg — worth checking against the mounting point before installation. Delivery time is 2-8 weeks. Its slim width means it takes up little space, which is an advantage in corridors and around mirrors.
We recommend the Calliope Short wall light for the hallway, bedroom and living room. Stylistically, it sits close to Art Deco and classic design. We recommend a dimmable bulb with a warm colour temperature, around 2700 K. That is where brass and nickel show their tones at their best.
