Harmony

Harmony is one of the three core expressions in Brittfurn's style guide, and the calmest of them. Japandi is the starting point: soft, organic forms, few statements and more air between things. The style is about taking away rather than adding — what remains is given room to breathe.

The palette is muted and natural: off-white, linen, sand and light oak, with a soft grey-moss green as an accent. The materials do the work — oak and ash, linen, wool, natural stone and ceramics. Surfaces that grow more beautiful with use, not worse.

Harmony holds close to 1 600 products from across the range: around 860 fabrics, 405 furniture pieces, 230 wallpapers and 57 lamps, plus mirrors and rugs. The brands include Designers Guild, Larsen, Romo, Colefax & Fowler and Nobilis.

Harmony suits you if you:

want a home that feels calm to come home to, not staged
are drawn to light wood, natural materials and matt surfaces
would rather choose a few things of high quality than many
are looking for minimalist or clean-lined interiors without them feeling cold

The Nordic entry point in the range is called clean-lined interiors. If you want to keep the calm but add history and craftsmanship, Heritage is the next step; if you want the same calm with a more restrained, more architectural edge, there is Essens.
