The Utopia Small wall light comes from Kelly Wearstler's collaboration with Visual Comfort & Co. Wall lights work with the depth of a room rather than its base lighting. A pair flanking a mirror or a bed gives a softer light than a single point in the ceiling.
The Utopia Small wall light comes in 2 finishes — Polished Nickel With White Glass and Aged Iron With White Glass. The finish matters more than you might think: polished nickel gives a cooler light than brushed brass. The materials are nickel & chrome and glass.
It measures 12.1 cm in width and 35.6 cm in height. The weight is 1.8 kg — worth checking against the mounting before installation. Delivery time is 2-8 weeks. The slim width means it takes up little space, which is an advantage in hallways and around mirrors.
The fitting works particularly well in hallways, bedrooms and living rooms. Its design language draws on Art Deco and classic design. The bulb is not included. We recommend dimmable, warm white light, around 2700 K, so the metal of the fitting comes into its own.
We are happy to help with lighting planning — how many light points a room needs and where they should go. Get in touch or visit us in Östermalm.
