Larsen's Dan fabric is built around a textured surface.

A straight pattern match keeps installation uncomplicated. Dan is available in 9 colourways — Clay, Hemp, Sand and Sea Glass, among others. The colourways differ more than you might expect; choose according to the light in the room.

The pattern belongs to the Kuba collection.

The fabric is 140 cm wide and woven in a cotton blend. With 50 000 rubs on the Martindale scale, it handles upholstery in the home with a comfortable margin.

The look carries a classic poise, a closeness to nature and timelessness, with a medium-light base tone. Works equally well for curtains and upholstery — keep the room's other textiles simple.

The palette is dominated by beige — medium-light and soft in tone, with a warm undertone. Consider which way the room faces — north light pulls colours cooler than they appear on the sample.

Bear the direction of the pattern in mind when ordering. A large-scale motif requires more fabric when the pattern has to be matched between widths.
