With its textured surface, Carnforth sits firmly within the Colefax & Fowler design language.

The pattern repeat is 1.0 cm, which makes it a small repeat. The small scale keeps the pattern discreet enough to carry a whole room. A straight match makes hanging straightforward. Carnforth comes in 15 colourways — Coral, Old Pink, Red and Copper, among others. The difference between them is greater than you might think — the same pattern can give you either a muted or a bright room.

The fabric is 139 cm wide and woven in a linen blend. At 50 000 rubs on the Martindale scale, it handles upholstery in a home setting with a good margin.
