With its textured surface, Magma sits firmly within G P & J Baker's design language.

Magma comes in 11 colourways — Marble, Sand, Spice and Red/Blue, among others. The difference between them is greater than you might think — the same pattern can give you a muted room or a bright one.

Magma is part of Essential Colours Ii from G P & J Baker.

The fabric is 132 cm wide and woven in a linen blend. With 40 000 rubs on the Martindale scale, it handles upholstery in the home with a comfortable margin.

The look carries timelessness, elegance and a relaxed ease, with a light base tone. Large-scale motifs come into their own on curtains and larger surfaces, less so on cushions and details.

The palette is dominated by grey — light and soft in tone, with a warm undertone. Keep the other textiles in the room in the same temperature, and the whole scheme will hold together.
