Ashcombe from G P & J Baker is built around figurative motifs, drawn with the richness of detail that characterises the house’s designs.

The colourway is Parchment.

Ashcombe comes from Colour Complements Ii: Salt/Flax Bb968 - Essential Weaves Ii Neutrals.

The fabric is 137 cm wide and woven in a cotton blend. With 27 000 rubs on the Martindale scale, it comfortably withstands upholstery use in the home.

The look has a classic poise, closeness to nature and timelessness, with a medium overall tone. Mix with plain fabrics for balance, and let the pattern sit where it will be seen.

The palette is dominated by beige, medium and soft in tone with a warm undertone. That decides what it works with: a cool undertone wants cool neighbours, while a warm one can take wood and brass.
