The Orford fabric from Osborne & Little is based on a dot pattern.

A straight pattern match keeps making up uncomplicated. Orford is available in 6 colourways — Peacock/coral, Topaz/chocolate, Gold/chocolate and Emerald/forest, among others. The colourways differ more than you might expect; choose according to the light in the room.

The pattern belongs to the Wickham collection.

The fabric is 137 cm wide and woven in a cotton blend. At 30 000 rubs on the Martindale scale, it comfortably withstands upholstery use in the home.

We recommend Orford for living rooms and bedrooms. The look carries a classic poise, a modern touch and strength of colour, on a mid-toned ground. It suits curtains just as well as upholstery — keep the room's other textiles simple.

The palette is dominated by green, mid and clear in tone with a warm undertone. Consider which way the room faces — north light pulls colours cooler than they look on the sample.
