With a textured surface, Pennard stands firmly within Colefax & Fowler's design language.

The pattern repeat is 1.0 cm, which makes it a small repeat. The small scale keeps the pattern discreet enough to carry a whole room. The pattern is a straight match, which makes the fabric simpler to make up. Pennard is available in 4 colourways — Beige, Stone, Sand and Old Blue. The difference between them is greater than you might think — the same pattern can make a room either muted or light.

The pattern works particularly well in living rooms and bedrooms. The look carries a classic poise, timelessness and a closeness to nature, on a light ground. Large-scale motifs are shown to best advantage on curtains and larger surfaces, less so on cushions and details.
