The Montreal Velvet fabric from Morris & Co is built on floral motifs. The house was founded in 1861 as Morris, Marshall, Faulkner & Co.

The pattern repeat is 49.5 cm, which makes it a medium repeat. The repeat is large enough to be noticed and small enough not to take over. The pattern is a straight match, which simplifies making up. Montreal Velvet is available in 3 colourways — Indigo/Slate, Forest/Teal and Grey/Charcoal. The colourways differ more than you might expect; choose according to the light in the room.

The pattern belongs to the Morris and Friends Volume I collection.
