Torin, designed by Kelly Wearstler for the exclusive house of Lee Jofa, is part of the Kelly Wearstler Glyph Wallcovering collection. The surface of the wallpaper is characterised by a muted, horizontal line pattern that calls to mind finely woven textiles and genuine craftsmanship. The linear expression brings a gentle dynamic to the room without taking over visually, creating a balanced dialogue between contemporary design and organic texture. The carefully selected textile blend of cotton and linen, among other fibres, gives the surface a tactile quality that catches the natural light in the room with subtle depth.
With its understated yet characterful construction, Torin provides a sophisticated backdrop in homes where a feel for materials takes centre stage. The horizontal pattern helps to visually widen the room and adds a harmonious rhythm along the walls. The wallpaper finds its natural place in a sleek living room as well as a restful bedroom or welcoming hallway. The colourways in the collection have been carefully developed to bring out the finely tuned variations in the texture, making it easy to combine the wallpaper with both classic furniture and modern art objects.
