Sift strikes a harmonious balance between the architectural and the artisanal. Designed by Kelly Wearstler for Lee Jofa as part of the Kelly Wearstler Tela Wallcovering collection, the pattern carries an expressive rhythm of softly brushed horizontal lines and breaks. The graphic language recalls ancient textile traditions or abstract signs, and the subtle variations in each line give the surface a lively, handmade character. Depending on the colourway, the impression shifts from muted and embracing to light and graphically distinct.
The painterly texture adds a quiet depth to the room without taking over the rest of the interior. Sift works well both for an entire room and for creating a stylish feature wall in a bedroom, living room or welcoming hallway. The pattern pairs well with natural materials such as dark wood, stone, textured weaves and brushed metal, bringing out the organic elegance of the wallpaper. Through its considered balance between modern geometry and artistic feeling, this wallpaper from Lee Jofa offers a sophisticated frame for both classic and contemporary settings.
