Truffle from Sanderson is built around a small-scale pattern and abstract form, drawn with the richness of detail that characterises the house's designs. The house was founded in 1860 by Arthur Sanderson in Islington, London.

The pattern repeat is 46.0 cm, which makes it a medium-sized repeat. The scale is well judged — the pattern reads clearly without dominating the wall. The pattern is a straight match, which simplifies making up. Truffle comes in 6 colourways — Damson, Rowan Berry, Sap Green and Indigo, among others. Truffle comes from Indoor Outdoor Prints. Outdoor Performance qualities are designed to withstand weather and sun — for conservatories and furniture that stays outdoors.

The fabric is 138 cm wide and woven in 100% polyester. With 80 000 rubs on the Martindale scale, it comfortably withstands upholstery use in the home.

Truffle is at its best in living rooms and bedrooms. The look has a classic poise, romantic softness and timelessness, with a light overall tone. Mix with plain fabrics for balance, and place the pattern where it will be seen.
