Onda means wave, and the pattern moves in exactly that way — in soft bands from the deepest black, through the whole scale of greys, out towards neutral. It is a dramatic floor that gives the room direction and movement.
The rug is hand-tufted in India in dense viscose yarns with touches of cotton. The viscose gives a lustre that changes through the day: dark and velvety against the light, almost silver-grey when the sun is on it. The pile is dense and sturdy.
Onda Charcoal is a natural choice for the more pared-back, architectural room — black, grey and metal — but works just as well as a contrast to pale furniture and oak floors.
