Coco is a plain rug that lives by its texture. The surface is tufted in a dense, grainy quality in which fine threads of lurex catch the light and give the otherwise matt wool a faint shimmer — barely noticeable from directly above, more apparent when light falls into the room at an angle.
The rug is hand-tufted in China from wool with viscose and a small proportion of lurex. The combination gives both softness and spring: the wool carries, the viscose lifts, and the dense pile feels lovely under bare feet. The colour range is deliberately neutral — soft off-white, pale grey and a grey-beige that leans faintly towards green.
This is a rug to build a room on. It lies calmly beneath a sofa arrangement, accommodates patterned cushions and curtains without clashing, and works as well in a bedroom as in a hallway where you want something soft to step out onto. Can be ordered in custom sizes.
