With animal motifs, Bird Wallpaper sits firmly within Morris & Co's design language. The house was founded in 1861 as Morris, Marshall, Faulkner & Co.
The pattern repeat is 61.0 cm, which makes it a large repeat. A repeat of that size is visible from a distance and sets the tone for the whole room. A straight match makes hanging straightforward. Bird Wallpaper comes in 4 colourways — Bough`s Green, Webb`s Blue, Wooded Dell and Madder/Weld. The difference between them is greater than you might think — the same pattern can give you either a muted or a light room.
Bird Wallpaper is part of Emery Walker`s House Wallpaper Collection from Morris & Co.
Each roll is 52 cm wide and 10.05 metres long, printed on paper. The weight is 188 g/m².
The pattern works particularly well in living rooms and hallways. The look has a classic poise, timelessness and closeness to nature, with a light overall tone. Let the wall do the talking and keep the upholstery fabrics calm.
Feel free to order a sample before you decide — printed colours behave differently on a wall than on a screen.
