Behind Longacre Table Lamp Small is Thomas O'Brien, designer for Visual Comfort & Co. A table lamp gives reading light and atmosphere at the same time. Expect the lower edge of the shade to end up at roughly eye level when seated.
The fitting is available in 3 finishes — Hand-Rubbed Antique Brass With Linen Shade, Bronze With Linen Shade and Polished Nickel With Linen Shade. Consider matching it to the other metals in the room. The materials are wrought iron & bronze.
The dimensions are 22.9 cm wide and 40.6 cm high. It weighs 2 kg — worth checking against the ceiling mount before installation. Delivery time is 2-8 weeks. Check the height against the table it will stand on — the lower edge of the shade should sit at roughly eye level when you are seated.
Longacre Table Lamp Small is at its best in the study, hallway, bedroom, living room and office. Choose a warm white bulb around 2700 K and ideally connect a dimmer — the lighting needs to adjust between day and evening.
Lighting is hard to judge from a picture. Do visit the showroom at Sturegatan 20 and see the fitting lit.
