Glyph, from the Kelly Wearstler Glyph Wallcovering collection for Lee Jofa, combines graphic rigour with a tactile, woven textile feel. Kelly Wearstler has created a sophisticated pattern in which classic squares break down into digitally inspired, pixelated blocks. The surface texture of cotton, linen and polyester gives the wall a lively depth and a muted elegance that changes with the light conditions in the room through the day. The rhythmic construction of the pattern creates a balanced architectural feel that suits modern settings just as well as more traditional rooms where you want to add a contemporary character.
Thanks to its carefully woven textile surface, the wallpaper lends the room a warm, inviting acoustic feel. It is exceptionally well suited to settings where you want an understated yet expressive backdrop, such as a living room, dining room or harmonious bedroom. Glyph balances the rational and the organic in a way that allows the wallpaper to be combined with natural woods, polished metals and soft textiles alike. Bringing this wallcovering into the interior creates a considered whole that unites architectural structure with a timeless feel for materials.
