Draxon is timeless and almost impossible to place wrongly — short dashes in rows, like stones lined up along a beach. In this colourway, grass green shines out against slate grey and dove blue, giving the pattern both warmth and a streak of nature.
The rug is hand-tufted in India in equal parts wool and viscose. The pattern is tufted in lustrous yarns against a pure wool ground, so the dashes lift from the surface when light falls from the side.
Green is the colour that most easily ties a room together with plants, wood and natural materials. Draxon Grass works just as well beneath a sofa arrangement as in a study where the floor is allowed to lend the room energy.
