Draxon Cloud is the palest version of the house's most versatile rug pattern. Short dashes are laid in rows in tones of misty grey, beige and bone white — a pattern that is there without being noticed, and that makes the room feel airier.
The rug is hand-tufted in India from equal parts wool and viscose. The viscose gives the dashes a soft lustre against the more matt wool ground, and that difference in texture is what holds the look together when the palette is so restrained.
This one answers a common question in the shop: a rug that works when the room already has a lot going on — patterned fabrics, paintings, wallpaper. Draxon Cloud calms the floor and lets everything else speak.
