Colonna från Nobilis kollektion Palazzo är en bred, majestätisk damaststrimma — en väv där rand och damast möts i samma mönster. Konstruktionen i linne, bomull, silke och viskos låter det grafiska och det materiella spela mot varandra: en naturfärgad botten står mot silkessatin som lyfter fram damastmotivet i randens breda fält. Tyget är komponerat som en perfekt följeslagare till damasten Barberini, med samma tyngd och samma gedigna känsla.

Colonna är som vackrast i långa längder där randen får löpa obruten — tänk gardiner i rum med god takhöjd, eller en draperad fond bakom sängen. Det är ett dekorativt tyg för gardiner och kuddar snarare än möbelklädsel. Finns i två färgställningar och trivs ihop med mörkt trä, marmor och enfärgade tyger i dova toner; den som vill bygga vidare på temat parar det med Barberini för en helgjuten, palatslik helhet.
