Canevas ur Nobilis kollektion Project N°5 tar sitt namn från den grovvävda kanvasduken — och precis som förlagan bygger tyget hela sitt uttryck på strukturen. Det franska textilhuset, grundat i Paris 1928, har vävt en tät, taktil yta där garnernas rytm skapar ett levande, nästan handgjort intryck. Väven är helt i flamsäker polyester med Trevira CS, vilket gör Canevas lika lämpad för hemmet som för hotell, restaurang och kontor där brandkraven är styrande.

Med 30 000 Martindale är Canevas en pålitlig arbetshäst för möbelklädsel — soffor, fåtöljer och sitsar som ska se lika goda ut efter åratal av dagligt bruk. Den texturerade, enfärgsnära ytan är tacksam att inreda med: den ger väggar av stoppade möbler liv utan att konkurrera med rummets övriga uttryck.
