Aurelien är ett paisleymönstrat tyg ur Nobilis kollektion Scenes Baroques – en samling som hämtar sin dramatik från barockens teatrala formvärld. Den generösa rapporten på 56 centimeter låter paisleymotivets svängda droppar breda ut sig med full kraft över väven av bomull, silke och flamsäker Trevira-polyester. Silket ger mönstret dess djup och lyster, och helheten känns som ett stycke orientalisk romantik tolkad genom parisiska ögon – överdådigt men aldrig vulgärt.

Med 15 000 Martindale fungerar Aurelien som möbelklädsel i hemmets lugnare möbler – en fåtölj eller prydnadsstol i detta tyg blir ett litet konstverk. Störst verkan gör mönstret dock i gardiner, där den stora rapporten får utrymme att berätta, eller i praktkuddar mot en enfärgad soffa. Kombinera med kollektionens silkessammet Velours Nabab i en ton hämtad ur mönstret, så fullbordas den barocka scenografin.
