Rhoscolyn was born from the rippled sandbanks along the coast of North Wales. In the biscuit version, the pattern lies in warm sand tones against a lighter ground — a rug that gives a room both movement and warmth.
The rug is hand-tufted in India in viscose with touches of wool. The raised areas of the pattern are tufted in lustrous yarns against a more matt wool ground, so the sand almost seems to move as you walk past.
This rug looks just as good in a modern city apartment as in an archipelago house — anywhere pale wood, linen and natural materials need to be tied together by something warm on the floor.
