Melior från Colefax & Fowler är uppbyggt kring abstrakt form, geometrisk struktur och paisleymotiv, tecknat med den detaljrikedom som kännetecknar husets formgivning.

Mönsterrapporten är 57,0 cm, alltså en medelstor repetition. Skalan är avvägd — mönstret läser tydligt utan att dominera väggen. Mönstret passas rakt, vilket förenklar uppsättningen.
