Tikal from Romo is built around a geometric structure.

The pattern match is offset. Tikal comes in 3 colourways — Lagoon, Copper and Terrazzo. The colourways differ more than you might expect; choose according to the light in the room.

The pattern belongs to the Habanera collection.

The fabric is 144 cm wide and woven in 100% polyester FR. At 35 000 rubs on the Martindale scale, it handles upholstery in the home with a good margin.

The look carries a modern edge, graphic crispness and sophisticated restraint, with a medium-light base tone. Works equally well for curtains and upholstery — keep the other textiles in the room simple.

The palette is dominated by blue — medium-light and clear in tone, with a cool undertone. Take into account which way the room faces — north light pulls colours cooler than they look on the sample.

Bear the direction of the pattern in mind when ordering. A large-scale motif needs more fabric when the pattern has to be matched between widths.
