The Manila Embroidery fabric from Sanderson is built on nature motifs. The house was founded in 1860 by Arthur Sanderson in Islington, London.

The pattern repeat is 22.8 cm, which makes it a small repeat. The close repeat gives a calm, almost textured surface from a distance. The pattern is a straight match, which makes hanging easier. Manila Embroidery comes in 3 colourways — Lime, Eucalyptus and Indigo. The colourways differ more than you might expect; choose according to the light in the room.

The pattern belongs to the Glasshouse collection. The pattern is embroidered rather than printed, which gives a tactile surface with relief.
