Murano from Romo is built around dots, drawn with the richness of detail that characterises the house's designs.

The pattern has an offset repeat. Murano is available in 5 colourways — Anise, Clementine, Peacock and Quartz among others. Do take several samples home. The same design can turn out quite differently depending on the colourway.

Murano comes from the Saphira collection.

The fabric is 136 cm wide and woven in a cotton blend. A Martindale rating of 20 000 rubs makes it suitable for upholstery.

Murano is at its best in living rooms and bedrooms. Its character combines a modern touch, graphic crispness and sophisticated restraint, on a medium-light base tone. Mix with plain fabrics for balance, and put the pattern where it will be seen.

The palette is dominated by grey, medium-light and soft in tone with a neutral undertone. That decides what it pairs with: a cool undertone wants cool neighbours, while a warm one sits happily with wood and brass.
