The Pure Scroll Embroidery fabric from Morris & Co is built on a check pattern. The house was founded in 1861 as Morris, Marshall, Faulkner & Co.

The pattern repeat is 22.5 cm, which makes it a small repeat. The close repeat gives a calm, almost textured surface from a distance. The pattern is a straight match, which simplifies installation. Pure Scroll Embroidery is available in 3 colourways — Linen, Flax and Lightish Grey. The colourways differ more than you might expect; choose according to the light in the room.

The pattern belongs to the Pure Morris North collection. The Pure series keeps its patterns in white, linen and grey, letting texture rather than colour carry the look. It works where a fully coloured pattern would be too much.

The fabric is 136 cm wide and woven in a linen blend.
