With its floral motifs, Pure Ceiling Embroidery sits firmly within the Morris & Co design language. The house was founded in 1861 as Morris, Marshall, Faulkner & Co.

The pattern repeat is 46.0 cm, which makes it a medium repeat. It is a size that works in both small and large rooms. The pattern is a straight match, which simplifies installation. Pure Ceiling Embroidery is available in 3 colourways — Paper White, Dove and Flax. The difference between them is greater than you might think — the same pattern can give you either a muted or a light room.

Pure Ceiling Embroidery is part of Morris Pure from Morris & Co. The Pure series keeps its patterns in white, linen and grey, letting texture rather than colour carry the look. It works where a fully coloured pattern would be too much.

The fabric is 135 cm wide and woven in a cotton blend.

The pattern works particularly well in living rooms and bedrooms. The look combines a classic poise, elegance and timelessness, on a very light ground. Large-scale motifs show to best advantage on curtains and larger surfaces, less so on cushions and details.
