Tarn from Colefax & Fowler is built around a textured surface, drawn with the richness of detail that characterises the house's designs.

The pattern repeat is 1.0 cm, which makes it a small repeat. From a distance, the pattern reads almost as a texture rather than a motif. A straight match makes the fabric uncomplicated to make up. Tarn is available in 7 colourways — Slate Blue, Oak Green, Old Blue and Grey Mist, among others. Feel free to take home several samples. The same design can turn out quite differently depending on the colourway.

Tarn comes from Tarn - Aut 22.

The fabric is 145 cm wide and woven in a jute blend. At 50 000 rubs on the Martindale scale, it handles upholstery in a home setting with a good margin.

Tarn is at its best in living rooms and bedrooms. The look has a classic poise, a relaxed touch and a closeness to nature, with a very light overall tone. Mix with plain fabrics for balance, and place the pattern where it will be seen.
