With nature motifs and animal motifs, Ashdown sits firmly within the Colefax & Fowler design language.

The pattern repeat is 93.0 cm, which makes it a large repeat. A repeat of that size can be seen from a distance and sets the tone for the whole room. The pattern is a straight match, which makes installation simpler. Ashdown is available in 4 colourways — Old Blue, Black, Yellow and Cream. The difference between them is greater than you might think — the same pattern can make a room either muted or light.

Ashdown is part of Ashdown - Spr 23 from Colefax & Fowler.

The fabric is 138 cm wide and woven in a cotton blend. At 25 000 rubs on the Martindale scale, it comfortably withstands upholstery use in the home.

The pattern works particularly well in living rooms and bedrooms. The look carries a classic poise, elegance and a closeness to nature, with a light base tone. Large-scale motifs show to best advantage on curtains and larger surfaces, less so on cushions and details.
