With its geometric structure, Tile sits firmly within Cole & Son’s design language. The house was founded in 1875 by John Perry in Islington, London.

The pattern repeat is 9,0 cm, which makes it a small repeat. The small scale keeps the pattern discreet enough to carry an entire room. The pattern is a straight match, which simplifies hanging. Tile is available in 3 colourways — Dark Ginger & Cream, Black & White and Cream & Oat. The difference between them is greater than you might think — the same pattern can give you either a muted room or a light one.

Tile is part of The Contemporary Collection from Cole & Son.

The fabric is 140 cm wide and woven in a viscose blend.

The pattern works particularly well in living rooms and bedrooms. The look brings together graphic crispness, a modern touch and timelessness, on a medium-light overall tone. Large-scale motifs come into their own on curtains and larger surfaces, less so on cushions and details.
