Babylon from Cole & Son is built around floral motifs, drawn with the wealth of detail that defines the house’s designs. The house was founded in 1875 by John Perry in Islington, London.
The pattern repeat is 76,2 cm, which makes it a large repeat. At that scale, the pattern becomes the main event in the room. Add a margin to your quantity calculation to allow for the match. The pattern has an offset match.
Babylon comes from the Martyn Lawrence Bullard collection.
Each roll is 52 cm wide and 10,05 metres long, printed on non-woven.
Babylon is at its best in living rooms and bedrooms. The look brings together a classic poise, elegance and romantic softness, on a light overall tone. Pair it with plain textiles and wood in natural tones, and the pattern has room to make its mark.
