With its children’s-room motifs, animal motifs and figurative motifs, Acquario sits firmly within Cole & Son’s design language. The house was founded in 1875 by John Perry in Islington, London.

The pattern repeat is 76,2 cm, which makes it a large repeat. A repeat of that size is visible from a distance and sets the tone for the whole room. The pattern has an offset match. Acquario is available in 5 colourways. The difference between them is greater than you might think — the same pattern can give you either a muted room or a light one.

Acquario is part of the Fornasetti collection from Cole & Son.

Each roll is 68,5 cm wide and 10,05 metres long, printed on non-woven.

The pattern works particularly well in living rooms. The look brings together a classic poise, elegance and a closeness to nature, on a dark overall tone. Let the wall do the talking and keep the upholstery calm.

The palette is dominated by green tones: dark and deep in tone, with a cool undertone. Keep the other textiles in the room at the same temperature and the whole scheme holds together.
