The Hector fabric from Sanderson is based on a plain surface. The house was founded in 1860 by Arthur Sanderson in Islington, London.

The pattern repeat is 18,9 cm, which makes it a small repeat. The close repeat gives a calm, almost textured surface from a distance. The pattern has a straight match, which simplifies making up. Hector is available in 6 colourways — Heather, Fig, Pewter Grey and Ochre, among others. The colourways differ more than you might expect; choose according to the light in the room.

The pattern belongs to the Islay Wools collection.

The fabric is 141 cm wide and woven in 100% wool. With 40 000 rubs on the Martindale scale, it comfortably withstands upholstery use in the home.

We recommend Hector for living rooms and bedrooms. The look carries romantic softness, elegance and timelessness, with a mid-light base tone. Works equally well for curtains and upholstery — keep the room's other textiles simple.
