With its floral motifs, Anthos sits firmly within Sanderson's design language. The house was founded in 1860 by Arthur Sanderson in Islington, London.

The pattern repeat is 77.0 cm, which makes it a large repeat. A repeat of that size is visible from a distance and sets the tone for the whole room. The pattern is a straight match, which simplifies making up. Anthos is available in 2 colourways — Cerise/Lime and Red/Indigo. The difference between them is greater than you might think — the same pattern can give you a muted room or a bright one.

Anthos is part of Sanderson's Water Garden collection.

The fabric is 138 cm wide and woven in a viscose blend. A Martindale rating of 15 000 rubs makes it suitable for upholstery.

The pattern works particularly well in living rooms and bedrooms. Its character combines romantic softness, strength of colour and timelessness, on a light base tone. Large-scale motifs show to best advantage on curtains and larger surfaces, less so on cushions and details.
