With nature motifs, Calathea sits firmly within Sanderson's design language. The house was founded in 1860 by Arthur Sanderson in Islington, London.
The pattern repeat is 76,2 cm, which makes it a large repeat. A repeat of that size is visible from a distance and sets the tone for the whole room. The pattern has a straight match, which simplifies hanging. Calathea is available in 3 colourways — Botanical Green, Olive and Orchid/Eucalyptus. The difference between them is greater than you might think — the same pattern can give you either a muted or a light room.
