Coco Outdoor from Romo is built around a check, drawn with the wealth of detail that characterises the house's design.

The pattern is a straight match, which makes hanging simpler. Coco Outdoor comes in 4 colourways — Forest, Jicama, Slate and Indigo. Do take several samples home. The same design can come across quite differently depending on the colourway.

The fabric is 134 cm wide and woven in a synthetic blend. With 40 000 rubs on the Martindale scale, it comfortably withstands upholstery use in the home.

The look carries a classic poise, sophisticated restraint and timelessness, with a mid-tone base. Mix with plain fabrics for balance, and let the pattern sit where it can be seen.

The palette is dominated by green, mid-toned and deep, with a cool undertone. That determines what it works with: a cool undertone wants cool neighbours, while a warm one can take wood and brass.
