With its floral motifs, Magnolia sits firmly within G P & J Baker's design language.

A straight pattern match makes the fabric easy to make up. Magnolia comes in 2 colourways — Biscuit/Sand and Cream/Blue. The difference between them is greater than you might think — the same pattern can give you a muted room or a bright one.

Magnolia is part of Baker Originals from G P & J Baker.

The fabric is 137 cm wide and woven in 100% linen. A Martindale rating of 20 000 rubs makes it suitable for upholstery.

The pattern works particularly well in living rooms and bedrooms. The look carries a classic poise, elegance and closeness to nature, with a light base tone. Large-scale motifs come into their own on curtains and larger surfaces, less so on cushions and details.

The palette is dominated by beige — light and clear in tone, with a warm undertone. Keep the other textiles in the room in the same temperature, and the whole scheme will hold together.
