Brynne from Colefax & Fowler is built around a textured surface, drawn with the richness of detail that characterises the house's designs.

The pattern repeat is 1.0 cm, which makes it a small repeat. From a distance the pattern reads almost as a texture rather than a motif. The pattern is a straight match, which makes hanging simpler. Brynne comes in 6 colourways — Ivory, Beige, Bone and Russet, among others. Feel free to take home several samples. The same design can turn out entirely differently depending on the colourway.

The fabric is 138 cm wide and woven in a cotton blend. At 30 000 rubs on the Martindale scale, it handles upholstery in a home setting with a good margin.

Brynne is at its best in living rooms and bedrooms. The look has a classic poise, timelessness and a relaxed feel, with a very light overall tone. Mix with plain fabrics for balance, and let the pattern sit where it can be seen.
