Jaspe Stripe from Cole & Son is built around stripes, drawn with the richness of detail that characterises the house's designs. The house was founded in 1875 by John Perry in Islington, London.

Jaspe Stripe is available in 8 colourways. It is worth taking home several samples. The same design can come across quite differently depending on the colourway.

Jaspe Stripe comes from the Marquee Stripes collection.

Each roll is 52 cm wide and 10.05 metres long, printed on non-woven.

The look conveys a classic poise, elegance and timelessness, with a dark base tone. Pair it with plain textiles and wood in natural tones, and the pattern has room to make its effect.

The palette is dominated by red — dark and deep in tone, with a warm undertone. That determines what it works with: a cool undertone wants cool neighbours, while a warm one can take wood and brass.
