Under Way 1963 är ett uttrycksfullt textilt konstverk skapat i ett exklusivt samarbete mellan det italienska vävhuset Dedar och The Josef & Anni Albers Foundation. Mönstret bygger på Anni Albers ikoniska formspråk där en slingrande tråd tillåts röra sig fritt över ytan likt en meditativ teckning eller en avspänd promenad. Den avancerade vävtekniken kombinerar en botten i bomullsatin och jute med en upphöjd ulltråd i fil coupé, vilket skapar en tredimensionell och reliefartad känsla. Det visuella spelet mellan den grafiska svarta basen, de mjukt melerade naturtonerna och den intensivt orange linjen ger tyget en helt unik konstnärlig närvaro i rummet.

Det genuina italienska hantverket från Milano märks tydligt i den rika struktur som för tankarna till traditionell handvävd textil.
