Mahayana is part of the Cathay collection from Nina Campbell and carries a story that goes back to the designer's own travels. The design draws its inspiration from a Japanese kimono sash and is built on a harmonious check with a basketweave feel. The geometric look gives the room a well-balanced structure, while the fabric's soft silhouette preserves a sophisticated, lively feel.

With a composition of ninety per cent viscose and ten per cent silk, Mahayana offers a subtle lustre and an exceptional drape. It is particularly well suited to bespoke curtains that catch the light beautifully, or to decorative cushions that add texture to the room. With a width of 136 cm and a vertical pattern repeat of 18 cm, the textile has a steady rhythm.

Mahayana is available in two timeless colourways, Gold and Silver, both of which reflect the light in the room with understated elegance. Combining the fabric's Asian-inspired geometry with more muted textiles creates a cosy, harmonious whole.
