Dexter from Colefax & Fowler is a sophisticated interpretation of the classic zigzag or flame stitch pattern. Part of the Romilly collection, the fabric stands out for its intricate weaving technique, in which a rich palette works together to create soft yet distinct tonal transitions. The blend of cotton and viscose gives the fabric a pleasing weight and a subtly vibrant look that immediately draws the eye without taking over the room.

Thanks to its fine texture and good durability, Dexter is wonderful as upholstery on an armchair or an upholstered seat, where the graphic pattern can truly come into its own. The fabric is just as beautiful for full curtains or accent cushions that create depth in a more muted setting. Pair it with plain linens or soft velvet to bring out the rich texture of the weave.
