The Beeching fabric from Colefax & Fowler is built on a geometric structure.

The pattern repeat is 1.0 cm, which makes it a small repeat. The tight repeat gives a calm, almost textured surface from a distance. A straight match makes making up straightforward. Beeching comes in 4 colourways — Aqua, Beige, Cream and Old Blue. The colourways differ more than you might expect; choose according to the light in the room.

The pattern belongs to the Hugo collection.

The fabric is 143 cm wide and woven in a cotton blend. At 33 000 rubs on the Martindale scale, it copes comfortably with upholstery in the home.

We recommend Beeching for living rooms and bedrooms. The look has a classic poise, timelessness and a relaxed feel, with a very light overall tone. It suits curtains and upholstery equally well — keep the room's other textiles simple.
