York Weave is available in 2 colourways — Sapphire and Jade. The colourways differ more than you might expect; choose according to the light in the room.

The pattern belongs to the Historic Royal Palaces collection.

The fabric is 137 cm wide and woven in a cotton blend. At 26 000 rubs on the Martindale scale, it comfortably withstands domestic upholstery use.

The design conveys a classic poise, sophisticated restraint and timelessness, with a medium-light base tone. Works as well for curtains as for upholstery — keep the room's other textiles simple.

The palette is dominated by black, medium-light and deep in tone with a neutral undertone. Take the room's orientation into account — north light pulls colours cooler than they look on the sample.
