With its textured surface, Thetis sits firmly within Osborne & Little's design language.

The pattern is a straight match, which makes it easier to make up. Thetis is available in 2 colourways. The difference between them is greater than you might think — the same pattern can give you a muted room or a light one.

Thetis is part of Hespera Velvets from Osborne & Little. The velvet catches the light and gives the pattern a depth that a print on flat-woven cloth cannot achieve.

The fabric is 142 cm wide and woven in a cotton blend. With 100 000 rubs on the Martindale scale, it comfortably withstands upholstery use in the home.

The pattern works particularly well in living rooms and bedrooms. The look brings together a classic poise, elegance and timelessness, with a very dark overall tone. Large-scale motifs come into their own on curtains and larger surfaces, less so on cushions and details.

The palette is dominated by brown, very dark and deep in tone, with a warm undertone. Keep the room's other textiles in the same temperature and the whole will hold together.
