With the Sagehill Rush Seat Side Dining Chair, Jonathan Charles presents a dining chair that breathes classicism, craftsmanship and well-judged proportion. It belongs to the JC Edited - Sagehill collection, firmly rooted in a quiet new rusticism with muted tones. Here matt finishes and aged wood meet in a design inspired by country homes with a calm palette, and the Sagehill Rush Seat Side Dining Chair carries that entire aesthetic forward in its own characterful interpretation. This is furniture making in its most luxuriously traditional form — designed and crafted using methods that have barely changed in a hundred years. At home, the Sagehill Rush Seat Side Dining Chair serves as a characterful dining chair in the dining room. The proportions are balanced so that the piece holds its own without taking over — precisely the balance Jonathan Charles is known for. Styling tip: Let a contrasting seat or upholstery break things up — it lifts the whole dining group. A piece as fluent in Swedish as it is in English — and one that gives the room the kind of weight only fine craftsmanship can.
